We've had a lot of activity recently regarding wedding bookings. The pattern seems to be couples' booking later than in recent years, leaving it until around 6 months before the big day rather than the traditional 12/18 months ahead. Understandable - given the current uncertainty regarding government cut backs - but this can cause disappointment as some dates, by then, have already been taken. So we still recommend that couples book early once they know the actual date.

That said, we still see couples booking well in advance - taking the view that no matter what happens, they are determined to get married and have the most memorable experience of their lives !! It's even better when they invite us along, because we get to record that very special event and thereafter, present them with an album or DVD (or both) that friends and family can enjoy and 're-live' the moments, and perhaps one day they can share with grandchildren and discuss how it was "all those years ago"   Ouch !

The Wedding Season is well under way for us now !  May Bank Holiday 2010 saw us attend our 20th Wedding this year with another 40 to go before December 2010. Steve was at the Plas Maenan Hotel in the Conwy Valley - one of his favorite venues and despite the forcast, the weather was good - slightly overcast but warm - ideal conditions for those gorgeous memorable shots, particularly after he threw a little Fill Flash into the mix.  The results were impressive !

Winter Weddings are getting more and more popular these days. We even had one on New Year's Eve last year which produced some great shots recorded in the couples choice of a Graphi Storybook Album.  They also had a DVD Video - part of which you can see on our Wedding Video page entitled 'Winter Wedding in Wales'.

On Thursday 29th April 2010 we took a stand at the Wedding Open Evening at The Oriel House Hotel, St Asaph between 5.30pm and 9pm - Free Admission. The event was well attended with lots to see. Those who came along picked up some great ideas for incorporation into their Wedding Plans !

On Sunday 28th February we attended a Wedding Fayre at Plas Newydd near Llanfairpwll, Anglesey.  Plas Newydd is a beautiful National Trust Property and home of the Marquis of Anglesey.  A glorious venue to get married !
